The IC-905 VHF/UHF/SHF/microwave transceiver system was unveiled on 20 August 2022 at Tokyo Ham Fair 2022.. The IC-905 covers the following internationally-allocated amateur bands:

144 MHz
432 MHz
1.2 GHz
2.4 GHz
5.6 GHz
10 GHz (with optional CX-10G head-end unit)

Brief description (translated from Hamlife.jp IC-905 issue):

On 20 August 2022, Icom Inc. announced the IC-905 144/430/1200/2400/5600 MHz band all-mode transceiver system at its booth at “Ham Fair 2022”. The IC-905 is positioned as a model which further evolves and commercializes the prototype 2.4/5.6 GHz band transceiver SHF-P1 of the "SHF project which the company has been promoting since last year. The SHF-P1 was unveiled at Dayton Hamvention in May 2022.

The radio supports the following waveforms: SSB/CW/FM/AM/RTTY/D-STAR (DV/DD) and FM ATV (amateur television, i.e. video transmission and reception). Furthermore, by installing an optional head-end unit (CX-10G), it supports the 10 GHz band (10.1/10.4 GHz band), making it a transceiver which will address the wishes of the VHF/UHF and microwave amateur communities. Price and release date: TBA.
